We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon to join our team. As a Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon at SearchPlus HR, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional surgical care to our clients. As a Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, your main focus will be on diagnosing and treating diseases, injuries, and defects of the oral and maxillofacial region. You will perform complex surgical procedures, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and stay updated with the latest advancements in the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery.
Responsibilities
Evaluate patients' medical history, symptoms, and perform thorough oral and maxillofacial examinations Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as X-rays, CT scans, and MRI scans Diagnose and treat various conditions, including facial trauma, jaw misalignment, TMJ disorders, and oral cancers Perform complex surgical procedures, such as maxillofacial reconstructions, orthognathic surgeries, and dental implant placements Utilize advanced surgical techniques, technologies, and instrumentation to achieve optimal patient outcomes Manage and mitigate post-operative complications when necessary Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including dentists, orthodontists, and plastic surgeons, to optimize patient care Stay updated on the latest advancements and research in the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery through continuous learning and professional development
Requirements:
Medical degree and valid license to practice as a Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon Proven experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of oral and maxillofacial conditions Expertise in performing complex oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures Strong knowledge of advanced surgical techniques, technologies, and instrumentation specific to oral and maxillofacial surgery Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and collaborate with healthcare team members Detail-oriented mindset and ability to prioritize and manage multiple cases simultaneously Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills specific to oral and maxillofacial cases
