As a Pediatric Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in providing specialized physiotherapy services to children and adolescents with a wide range of physical conditions and developmental challenges. In this role, you will work closely with pediatric patients, their families, and a multidisciplinary team to assess patients' physical abilities and develop personalized treatment plans. Your expertise in pediatric physiotherapy techniques, along with your ability to create a supportive and engaging environment, will contribute to improving the mobility, strength, and overall well-being of young patients.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments of pediatric patients, taking into account their physical abilities, medical history, and developmental stage Create and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and patient goals Provide therapeutic exercises, activities, and interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, and coordination Assist pediatric patients in learning and practicing daily activities to promote functional independence Use specialized equipment, such as pediatric therapeutic devices and assistive technology, as needed Educate and involve parents or caregivers in the therapy process, providing guidance on exercises and techniques for home practice Maintain accurate and updated documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes Collaborate and communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals and team members to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in pediatric physiotherapy through continuous learning and professional development
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy or a related field Valid license to practice as a Physiotherapist with specialization in pediatric care Proven experience in providing physiotherapy services to pediatric patients Strong knowledge of pediatric physiotherapy techniques, assessment tools, and treatment modalities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with pediatric patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals Ability to create a supportive and motivating environment for pediatric patients Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills for addressing unique challenges in pediatric physiotherapy Detail-oriented mindset and ability to maintain accurate and updated documentation Ability to work well in a multidisciplinary team environment
