At UAE hospitals, we are currently seeking compassionate and skilled ICU Nurses to join our hospitals. As an ICU Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing specialized care and support to patients in the Intensive Care Unit. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing patients' conditions, monitoring vital signs, administering medications, providing life-saving interventions, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Your expertise and dedication will contribute to the overall well-being of critically ill patients.
Responsibilities
Assess and document patients' conditions, including vital signs, medical histories, and physical exams Administer medications, monitor IV lines, and perform necessary procedures and interventions Monitor and interpret patients' cardiac rhythms, oxygen levels, and other vital signs Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families, addressing their concerns and answering questions Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation Participate in patient care rounds and contribute to the overall coordination and delivery of care Stay updated with the latest research, advancements, and best practices in critical care nursing
Requirements
Valid nursing license and minimum of 2 years of experience as an ICU Nurse Strong knowledge of critical care nursing principles, practices, and protocols Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills in high-pressure situations Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Compassionate and empathetic nature to provide emotional support to patients and their families Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patients and tasks simultaneously Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays Valid certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
