Dialysis Nurse
Job Description
We seek a skilled and compassionate Dialysis Nurse to join our team. As a Dialysis Nurse at UAE hospitals, you will be vital in providing high-quality care to patients undergoing dialysis treatment. As a Dialysis Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing nursing care for patients with end-stage renal disease who require dialysis treatment. You will monitor patients during their dialysis sessions, ensure their safety and well-being, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
Responsibilities
Assess patients' health status and develop individualized care plans Prepare and initiate dialysis treatment according to established protocols Monitor patients' vital signs and assess for any adverse reactions during dialysis sessions Administer medications and intravenous (IV) therapies as prescribed Monitor and document patients' responses to treatment and communicate any changes or concerns to the healthcare team Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding dialysis treatment, lifestyle modifications, and self-care Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate and optimize patient care Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols Participate in quality improvement initiatives and stay updated on the latest advancements in dialysis nursing
Requirements
Valid nursing license and certification as a Dialysis Nurse Minimum of [X] years of experience in dialysis nursing Comprehensive knowledge of dialysis procedures, equipment, and medications Ability to assess, plan, and implement nursing care for patients undergoing dialysis treatment Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members Attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Additional certifications related to dialysis nursing are preferred
